Primary Care Action Team Round 2 funding announcement
On April 27th, there was a Primary Care Action Team Round 2 funding announcement with MPP Mike Harris at Community Healthcaring KW, alongside local mayors and community partners.
Community Healthcaring Kitchener-Waterloo, Woolwich Community Health Centre, and their partners received $6 million to connect thousands of Waterloo Region residents with a family doctor or primary care team.
This investment strengthens team‑based primary care and improves access for our community.
