March is Brain Injury Awareness Month
Every day, individuals and families navigate the life changing impacts of brain injury - often silently and often without the support they truly need.
This month, we’d like to shine a light on those living with acquired and traumatic brain injuries, to honour their resilience and to advocate for the understanding and resources they deserve.
At Traverse, we’re proud to walk alongside our clients on their rehabilitation journey. Our team provides compassionate, specialized support designed to help individuals rebuild skills, increase independence, and move forward with confidence.
Our services include:
• Personalized rehabilitation plans
• Cognitive and communication support
• Behavioural therapy and emotional regulation strategies
• Life skills training and community reintegration
• Family and caregiver coaching
• Collaborative, client centered care from a multidisciplinary team
Brain injury can change lives, but so can the right support.
Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are located on the Haldimand Tract, traditional and unceded territory of the Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral Peoples. It encompasses 980,000 acres of land that was given to the Six Nations in 1784, 10 kilometers on each side of the Grand River.
