June is Brain Injury Awareness Month
At Traverse Independence, we take this time to raise awareness, show support, and celebrate the strength of individuals living with brain injuries. Every journey is unique, and every step forward, no matter how small, is worth recognizing!
Brain injuries can affect how people think, feel, and interact with the world, but with the right support, understanding, and community, individuals can continue to live meaningful, independent lives.
This month, we encourage everyone to:
- Learn more about brain injury and its impact
- Show compassion and patience
- Support inclusion and accessibility
- Celebrate resilience and progress
- Wear green on June 15th
Together, we can build a more understanding and supportive community for all.
