Make a Donation to Traverse Independence

Traverse Independence is a registered charitable organization (Charitable Registration # 107820524RR0001, Business Registration # 107820524RR0001). Read our Registered Charity Information listing with the Canadian Revenue Agency. All donations are tax deductible.

The organization provides services for adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and physical disabilities. Founded in 1975, Traverse Independence has grown to serve the needs of more than 250 individuals annually through its facilities in Kitchener-Waterloo and Fergus, Ontario, Canada, and 140 dedicated staff and volunteers.

Through our planned giving program, we welcome donations from agencies and organizations offering information, counseling and advice services for our clients.    

How Can I Donate to Traverse Independence?  

To Give Online

Traverse Independence accepts online donations in partnership with CanadaHelps.org. To pay by credit card, PayPal or Interac Online, click the CanadaHelps button below! A tax receipt will be prepared and e-mailed to you.

To Give by Mail

To donate by mail, please send cheque or money order to:

Cheques can be made out to Traverse Independence. Please specify the program to which your gift is to be applied by printing it in the memo section of your cheque. A tax receipt will be prepared and mailed to you.

Land Acknowledgement
