Accreditation

Accreditation Seal - circle with red banner and Accreditation Canada Logo

Traverse Independence is fully accredited under the Accreditation Canada Qmentum program.

This means that we have met and commit to continue meeting the national standards in the following major areas: Governance, Leadership, Infection Prevention and Control, Medication Management and Acquired Brain Injury.

We could not have achieved these results without the valuable input and support of our clients, caregivers, employees and key stakeholders. Thanks so much from all of us at Traverse Independence.

What is accreditation?

Accreditation is an ongoing process of assessing services against standards, to identify what is being done well and what needs to be improved. Health care providers accredited by Accreditation Canada have met the national standards of quality. They are committed to making sure you receive the best care possible. More than 1,000 health care and social services providers across Canada use the Accreditation Canada process to thoroughly evaluate and continually improve their services.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we are located on the Haldimand Tract, traditional and unceded territory of the Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee and Neutral Peoples. It encompasses 980,000 acres of land that was given to the Six Nations in 1784, 10 kilometers on each side of the Grand River.
