Jawid Rahi - “I Fight with Life” music video
Jawid Rahi is a Traverse client that has always lived through music - singing, playing keyboard, writing songs, and leading his own band. After his brain injury, life changed drastically, and he couldn’t make music for a long time.
Last year, he decided to write about his journey in a song called “I Fight with Life.” He approached one of our Life Skills Facilitators, Sua, for help recording this song and we were able to book a session at the Cambridge Library with some helpful tech support.
From there, JR sent the audio overseas for mixing, and after months of work, his music video is now complete.
He is incredibly proud to share this achievement and grateful for the support and encouragement he received along the way.
His message is powerful: "Life changed suddenly, but love helped him rise again. Whatever he was and whatever he is now - he will live to sing for love."
Disclaimer: This song is not performed in English, but good music speaks for itself.
