Shagun Jariwala, Behavior Facilitator

As a Behavior Facilitator at Traverse Independence, I specialize in utilizing behavior-based strategies to develop plans that improve the quality of life for adults with ABI. In addition to this, I offer comprehensive training to front-line staff to ensure the smooth implementation of behavior-based programs. Prior to working with individuals with ABI, I have years of experience working with families of children with disabilities. I am deeply passionate about employing compassionate, human-centered behavioural strategies to positively impact people's lives. Outside of work, I indulge in leisure activities such as reading avidly and going for long runs.

Chris Levac, Human Resources Department - Coordinator

I am extremely excited to join the Traverse Independence team, supporting employees and management, as the Human Resources Department - Coordinator. I bring 5 years of production management experience and an additional 5 years supporting HR and Talent Acquisition, in Canada and the USA, within the medical technology industry. With a background in Kinesiology, I’m excited to support an environment focused on improving the health, safety, and wellness of clients and employees. In my personal time I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, spending my time camping, hiking, or traveling the globe.

Biobele Okorosa, Administrative Assistant

Supporting people to achieve their goals has been my passion and I am grateful that I am able to support individuals, teams, carrying out administrative tasks, and helping them achieve their goals. I have worked in different sectors such as construction and IT and education, assisting with project management and administrative tasks prior to working in Traverse. I am most motivated by the fulfilment I experience from seeing planned projects being actualized. In my spare time, I sing, listen to music or try out new recipes.
